The Twenty-Nine
Palms Band of Mission Indians in California will open its second gaming facility on March 31.
The tribe broke ground on the 30,000 square-foot Tortoise Rock Casino last spring.
The facility features 490 slot machines, seven table games, a restaurant, a bar and a lounge.
"Tortoise Rock Casino is not only a significant milestone for our tribe, but we are also very happy to bring jobs and add excitement to entire high desert community," Chairman Darrell Mike said in a press release.
The tribe is hiring more than 100 people to work at the facility.
