Poarch Creeks sign agreement for fire service at $250M casino

The Poarch Band of Creek
Indians in Alabama has reached an agreement for fire services at its $250 million casino.
The tribe will make a one-time payment of $920,000 to the city of Wetumpka.
The deal also calls for $850,000 a year for three years for fire service and protection at the
Wind Creek Wetumpka for a total of $1.97 million in the first year.
The casino will open to the public on December 17.
