Communities in western New York received $34.5 million in gaming revenues thanks to the Seneca Nation.
The city of Salamanca received $20.4 million on Friday. The remainder is going to Cattaraugus County. The money came after the tribe reached a deal with Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to keep non-Indian casinos out of Seneca territory. The tribe agreed to make $349 million in in back payments under the Class III gaming compact. Get the Story:
