Newspaper doesn't see the need for an expansion of Keno and electronic video gaming in Connecticut:
Now that the state has reverse its financial fortunes to a point where budget surpluses have replaced budget deficits, there are calls being made to delay expanding the state’s gaming portfolio by adding Keno next summer. Why delay it? Let’s just scrap the plan altogether. Unfortunately, that isn’t likely to happen. On Friday, the Connecticut Lottery Corporation’s Board of Directors gave approval to measures, setting in motion the introduction of the new game, by approving a resolution authorizing the expenditure of $5.4 million on game development.Get the Story:
