Mashantucket Tribe starts work on $120M outlet mall at casino

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut broke ground on a $120 million outlet mall at its casino.

The 300,000-square-foot mall at the Foxwoods Resort Casino will feature more than 80 stores. The project is expected to generate 400 construction jobs and 900 permanent jobs.

The Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods could open in late 2014 or early 2015.
