The Forest County Potawatomi
Tribe is close to deal for policing services at its off-reservation casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The tribe would pay the city up to $100,000 for off-duty police officers at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino, The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported. The agreement would last one year, with an automatic extensions unless either party objects.
Discussions began after a shooting at the casino injured two people. A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the June 16 incident.
