Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) signed into law a ban on electronic gaming machines, a move that will shut down more than 1,000 non-Indian operations across the state.
HB 155 bans electronic devices except for the ones operated by the Seminole Tribe and by certain non-Indian facilities in South Florida. The offending devices were offered at so-called "Internet cafes" and "adult arcades" that have spread across the state. Get the Story:
