Tribal casinos in New Mexico saw slot machine revenues grow by 6.4 percent in 2012, The Albuquerque Journal reports.
Net win from slot machines at tribal casinos was $759.6 million, according to the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. Of that amount, tribes shared $68.3 million with the state, a 4.8 percent increase from 2011. The Navajo Nation appears to be driving much of the growth. Net win at the tribe's three casinos in New Mexico was $81.2 million in 2012, up from $46.2 million in 2011. Get the Story:
