Oneida Nation to hire 150 people as part of casino expansion

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

The Oneida Nation of New York is hiring 150 people as part of a $25 million expansion at its casino.

The tribe is adding an entertainment venue to the Turning Stone Resort Casino. The "Exit 33" complex will include a country music dance hall, a rock and roll club, a lounge and a piano bar.

"It's not going to be something you've seen around here," Jerry Marrello, the director of operations at the Lava nightclub, told CNY Central.

The expansion is set to open in July, which coincides with the casino's 20th anniversary.
