The Florida Senate Gaming Committee plans to authorize a study of the impacts of gaming.
The study is expected to take two years. It will help determine whether lawmakers want to expand non-Indian gaming or negotiate a new Class III gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe. The tribe signed a compact in 2010 that guaranteed exclusivity in exchange for revenue sharing. The deal expires in 2015. Get the Story:
