The Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts isn't the only one trying to join a lawsuit that challenges H.3702, the state's gaming law.
The tribe filed a motion to intervene, claiming it has a right to a casino under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. The Aquinnah/Gay Head Community Association also wants to join, to argue that the tribe isn't entitled to gaming. The lawsuit was filed by K.G. Urban Enterprises, a non-Indian developer. KG says provisions in H.3702 that reserve a casino for "a federally recognized tribe" violate the U.S. Constitution. Get the Story:
