The Blackfeet Nation of Montana broke ground on a hotel and convention center next to the Glacier Peaks Casino.
The Holiday Inn Express and Suites will feature 86 rooms and more than 1,200 square feet of conference space. The $5.8 million project is being completely financed by the tribe. "The new hotel will offer people a reasonably priced place to stay in Browning, where we can show off our culture and give them more information to promote the many other attractions here on the reservation," Chairman Willie Sharp Jr. said in a press release, The Great Falls Tribune reported.
