The National Labor Relations Board is overseeing a union dispute at the casino owned by the Lytton Band of Pomo Indians in California.
Members of the United Here Local 2850 have been working without a contract at the San Pablo Lytton Casino for three years. The NLRB website lists four open cases involving the union and the tribe -- 32-CA-086359, 32-CA-064020, 32-CA-025665 and 32-CA-025585. One case will be headed to an administrative law judge, The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported. A hearing has been scheduled for October 29. The union is also taking its case to the public and sent out a mailer to residents in the town of Windsor. The tribe has a pending land-into-trust application there. Get the Story:
