The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in California is showing “stronger than expected” improvement in its gaming operation, according to Fitch Ratings.
The tribe operates two gaming facilities. Earnings were up 17.9 percent in the last fiscal year, according to Fitch, which upgraded the tribe's overall outlook to "positive." "Revenue and EBITDA have outperformed this forecast, with revenue growing in low-to-mid single digit range over the last three reported quarters ending June 30, 2012," Fitch said in a press release, referring to earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation.
