The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians expects to start work on a new casino within 30 to 35 days, MLive reported.
The tribe gained local approval for the Four Winds Dowagiac, its third in Michigan. "It only made sense for us to it," Chairman Matthew Wesaw told MLive, citing favorable market and feasibility studies.
