The Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe of Washington is opening the doors to its $18.5 million casino this afternoon.
The tribe built a new home for the Point Casino. The 52,000 square-foot facility features 625 slot machines, 12 table games, a poker area, a restaurant, a deli and buffet, a sports bar and cigar lounge and a 9,400-square-foot events center. "It's an all-new, entertaining experience compared to the old," Scott Laursen, the casino's marketing director, told The Kitsap Sun. "The old one was great, but this one is even better."
