The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians in Wisconsin has renewed plans for an off-reservation casino in New York.
The tribe recently updated its land-into-trust application for 330 acres in the Catskills, President Robert Chicks told The Middletown Times Herald-Record. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is now restarting the environmental review process. The tribe's ancestors lived in New York before being removed to Wisconsin. Get the Story:
