The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has completely withdrawn from an off-reservation casino deal with the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin.
The Mohegans originally agreed to finance and manage the casino. But after spending $12 million on the project, the tribe was replaced by KMD Consulting Services of California earlier this year. The Mohegans were still on board as manager of the facility. But that arrangement has ended too, Menominee Vice Chairman Myrna Warrington told The Kenosha News. The Menominees are now seeking a management firm to run the casino, to be located at the former Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha. Get the Story:
