The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi in Michigan held a topping off ceremony on Tuesday for its casino hotel.
The tribe is adding a 242-room hotel to the FireKeepers Casino. Construction is expected to be complete this fall. "This is the transition from concrete and steel to interior work," Chairman Homer Mandoka said at the ceremony, The Battle Creek Enquirer reported. Construction generated 165 jobs and the tribe will add 300 permanent workers at the casino. Get the Story:
