A Connecticut man is trying to subpoena officials from two tribal casinos as part of a negligence lawsuit.
Edmund Davis believes officials from the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe have information about a woman who caused an accident near their casinos even though they aren't parties to his case. A judge last month ruled that the executives enjoy sovereign immunity. Davis is appealing the decision. His vehicle was struck by Dina Senibaldi, who faces second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault for an accident that resulted in the death of Davis' passenger in April 2011. Get the Story:
