The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will meet today with the town council in Palmer, Massachusetts, to discuss plans for a casino.
The tribe wants to bid on a casino license for western Massachusetts. Town leaders support the idea and envision upwards of $30 million in tax revenue and up to $13.6 million in slot machine revenue for their community.
