A judge has ordered Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority to reinstate Kirk Goodtrack as chairman of the board.
The SIGA board, which consists of First Nations leaders, ousted Goodtrack over alleged conflicts of interest. But Court of Queen's Bench Justice G.N. Allbright said the board lacked authority to remove Goodtrack. "I want to continue my work at SIGA, cutting costs at the SIGA board, looking at improving efficiencies in SIGA operations," Goodtrack told The Saskatoon StarPhoenix.
