Patrick supports full-scale gaming in the state. That would mean the tribe can open a Class III casino. "We believe it is important that any gaming legislation account for and address this tribal gaming reality," Gregory Bialecki, the state's secretary of Housing and Economic Development Secretary, said in a letter to lawmakers who raised questions about the tribe's rights.
