Winnebago Tribe to bring customers to casino with duck boat rides

The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska will reopen its casino on July 27.

The tribe is purchasing three duck boats to ferry people to and from the WinnaVegas Casino. A ride will cost $10 but patrons will get a $10 coupon to play.

"I think the novelty of it will attract some people and as I said, if it's a big attraction we're going to keep them, we may even get a few more," Chairman John Blackhawk told KCAU-TV.

The road to the casino was flooded by the Missouri River. The water isn't deep -- only about two feet -- so the duck boats will mainly be driving and not really floating over, Blackhawk said.
