An FBI raid at a casino owned by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians is being linked to the dealings of Beasley Denson, the tribe's chief.
WLBT-TV reports that Denson has been paying a company called Mercury Gaming in Atlanta $60,000 a month. The amount went up to $250,000 a month in February without the tribal council's knowledge, the station said. Denson lost his election to Phyliss J. Anderson.
