The Tonkawa Tribe of Oklahoma has settled a dispute with its former gaming partner.
The tribe will pay $2 million to Gaughan Gaming. "They essentially settled for far less than what they were scheduled to make," tribal attorney Gary Pitchlynn told the Associated Press. Gaughan used to manage the Tonkawa Casino and the Native Lights Casino. The tribe ended the two management contracts and suspended the company's gaming license. The Gaughan agreements are on the National Indian Gaming Commission's list of approved management contracts. Get the Story:
