The National Indian Gaming Association holds its annual tradeshow and convention next week in Phoenix, Arizona.
The conference takes place April 3-6 at the Phoenix Convention Center. More than 18,000 are expected, The Phoenix Business Journal reported. A highlight will be the campaign for NIGA chairman between incumbent Ernie Stevens Jr., a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, and Ivan Makil, the former president of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona.
