Communities in Isabella County, Michigan, are seeking $1.38 million in gaming revenues from the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe.
The big projects on the county's wish list include $523,558 for elder programs and services, $140,000 for drug prosecution, and $116,600 for drain extension. The list is ranked by priority. As part of its Class III gaming compact, the tribe shares two percent of revenues twice a year. Since 1994, the tribe has shared more than $200 million with local communities. Get the Story:
