The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts is reportedly considering a Class II casino.
The tribe is negotiating to buy a 300-acre site in the city of Fall River for $21 million. If the land is taken into trust, it could be used for a Class II facility since state lawmakers haven't approved casino-style gaming. The deal for the land, however, has not been finalized.
