The Legislative Audit Bureau released its biennial audit of the Division of Gaming that showed a drop in revenues and profits at Wisconsin's tribal casinos.
Overall, tribal casinos took in about $1.3 billion each year from 2007 through 2009, the report said. Net revenue fell by 2. 9 percent over the same period. Actual profits from casinos fell by 9.4 percent, according to the report. They went from $599.5 million in 2007 to $543.4 million in 2009, the audit said. The state's share of tribal revenues increased during the same time but this was mainly due to a one-time $60 million payment from the Ho-Chunk Nation. Get the Story:
