Chumash Tribe seeks expansion for liquor license at casino

The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians of California wants to expand the liquor license at its casino, The Santa Maria Times reports.

The tribe wants to serve liquor in the showroom at the Chumash Casino Hotel and Resort, in two restaurants and the hotel. Alcohol will remain off limits on the gaming floor.

The tribe holds three separate liquor licenses from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
