The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of
Pomo Indians of California reported an increase in sales at the River Rock Casino.
The tribe said sales in the first quarter were $32.3 million. That's up 3 percent from the same period last year.
CEO David Fendrick linked the increase to a $5.5 million renovation project at the casino. The tribe redesigned the gaming floor and added a poker room and other amenities.
The tribe still plans to build a new resort once the economy improves.
