The National Indian Gaming Commission once again has three members.
Daniel Little, a former employee of the Mashantucket
Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut, joined the NIGC on Tuesday. He will serve as associate commissioner, along with acting chairman George Skibine, a member of the Osage Nation of Oklahoma, and vice chairwoman Steffani Cochran, a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Except for a short time earlier this year, the commission has not had a full quorum of three members since December 2007. However, Skibine's acting chairmanship is due to expire within a few weeks and President Barack Obama has yet to nominate a permanent chair.
