The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians of North Carolina is on track to complete a $633 million expansion of the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino.
The tribe is adding a 21-story tower and 532 rooms to the hotel, making it the largest in the state. There will also be a Paula Deen restaurant with 400 seats, a 16,000 square-foot spa and a 3,000-seat auditorium. Construction is expected to conclude in December.
