The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut is cutting back on a shuttle service that casino employees use to get to work.
The tribe will stop sending shuttles to one lot entirely and will eliminate weekday service to another. "Due to the pressure on our business over the last 18 months our employee levels are back to pre-MGM levels and in order to keep our business costs under control we must take certain measures to help preserve jobs and remain competitive in this environment," Michael Speller, the president of the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise, said in a letter, The New London Day reported.
