The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin secured $55 million in financing to expand one of its casinos.
The tribe is using a $17 million conventional loan and a $38 million Bureau of Indian Affairs guaranteed loan to expand the Hole in the Wall Casino & Hotel. The casino will feature more than 400 slot machines, 12 table games, a new restaurant, buffet, deli and lounge. The tribe is also adding a convention center and 50-room hotel to the facility.
