The Buena Vista Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California is facing another lawsuit over its casino plans.
The tribe was restored to federal recognition in 1983. But a group called Friends of Amador County says the tribe isn't legitimate and has filed suit in federal court in hopes of stopping the casino. Officials in Amador County made a similar claim in another lawsuit that was dismissed last year. The tribe is planning a $150 million casino on its 67-acre rancheria. Get the Story:
