The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation presented plans for a commercial casino in Kansas.
Foxwoods Development said it will spend $225 million on a casino in Sumner County. The project doesn't include a hotel but an executive said it could expand in future years. "I don't see how you can see a 'destination casino' without a hotel," county commissioner Jim Newell told the executive, The Wichita Eagle reported. None of the other two bidders plan to build a hotel either. Lakes Entertainment CEO Lyle Berman said he doesn't have the money for one. Get the Story:
