The Florida Senate voted 27-11 on Thursday in favor of a Class III gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe.
The deal authorizes slot machines and table games. It calls for the tribe to share an estimated $400 million a year in revenues with the state. The state House is considering its own version of the compact today. It limits the tribe to slot machines.
