The company behind the casino for the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians of Michigan, plans to file for bankruptcy in March, The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
But Station Casinos says the filing won't affect plans for the project due to the way the company is structured. The tribe hopes to break ground in "several weeks," a spokesperson said. In related news, Station is stepping in to manage the casino owned by the United Auburn Indian Community of California.
