The Pauma Yuima Band of Mission Indians of California will be eliminating employees at Casino Pauma.
The tribe cited the economy in making the cuts. It's not known how many employees will be let go. The tribe has been planning an expansion of the casino but wouldn't say whether the economy would affect the project.
