The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe of New York won't be suing its former gaming partner for an off-reservation casino.
The tribe said Empire Resorts breached its contract by pulling out of the project when it was rejected by the Bush administration. But Empire has agreed to pay the tribe $400,000 for development costs, attorneys fees and lobbying fees. Empire is now planning a different gaming project at the site in the Catskills. Get the Story:
