The board of supervisors in San Diego County, California, approved a $38 million deal with the Pauma Band of Mission Indians.
The tribe has agreed to pay $25.5 million for numerous road improvements around its new $300 million Pauma Casino. The tribe will pay more than $600,000 a year for law enforcement services, gambling addiction programs and public safety programs. The agreement is required by the tribe's Class III gaming compact with the state. Get the Story:
