The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation in Washington halted work on a $25 million casino.
Construction began a little over a week ago but was stopped when human remains were discovered on the site in Omak. Tribal leaders met to discuss the issue on Tuesday but no decisions have been announced, The Grand Coulee Star reported. Business council chair Jeanne Jerred has said a new site needs to be chosen.
