The Navajo Nation Council approved $650,000 for the tribe's second casino.
The facility will be located in Tse Daa Kaan, New Mexico. The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise will use the money to buy a modular building for a Class II facility there. Delegate Ervin Keeswood, who represents Tse Daa Kaan, said the market supports a small casino in the community. He pointed out that the tribe's compact with the state of New Mexico expires 2015.
