Agua Caliente Band to share $1.3M with charities

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians will donate $1.3 million today, on the anniversary of its casino in Palm Springs, California.

This year, 84 charities and civic groups in the region will receive money. "We look forward to this day every year," Chairman Richard Milanovich said in a statement.

The ceremony takes place at the Spa Resort Casino, which opened in 1995.
