Commissioners in Clark County, Washington, held the first in a series of public meetings on a casino agreement with the Cowlitz Tribe
The county is holding three meetings even though commissioners plan to oppose the casino. A vote on a resolution against the casino is taking place today. The tribe wants to build a $510 million casino on 152 acres in the county. The tribe's land-into-trust application is pending before the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Get the Story:
