The National Indian Gaming Commission went to Florida last week as part of ongoing investigation into the Seminole Tribe.
NIGC conducted an audit of the tribe's casino spending. The review found 13 problem areas and said the tribe wasn't in compliance with federal law. In a series, The South Florida Sun-Sentinel looked at the tribe's finances. NIGC Chairman Phil Hogen said the newspaper raised some new questions about the tribe that will be investigated.
