House Speaker Marco Rubio, a Republican, filed a lawsuit today to invalidate the Seminole Tribe's Class III gaming compact.
Rubio claims Gov. Charlie Crist (R) exceeded his authority by signing a 25-year agreement with the tribe.
He says the state Legislature should have final approval over the deal.
The tribe will share $50 million up front and at least $100 million a year with the state.
The tribe already announced a $120 million expansion of its Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa.
