The Navajo Nation Council voted 54-25 on Monday to back a $100 million line of credit for the tribe's gaming operations.
The tribe secured the money from JP Morgan Chase. President Joe Shirley Jr. said it will be used to start building the tribe's first gaming facility. "I can't wait to see the first casino go up," Shirley told the Associated Press. The tribe wants to open up to six casinos on its reservation. The first will be located near Gallup, New Mexico, and the second one will be near Flagstaff, Arizona. Get the Story:
